For a beautiful winter hike with panoramic views of Farmington Valley, bundle up and take the 1.25 mile trail up to Heublein Tower at Talcott Mountain State Park in Simsbury. Explore the walk and bike trails through white pines, winding streams and brooks at nearby Penwood State Forest and Stratton Brook State Park and the East Coast Greenway with paths throughout the Farmington Valley.
